On behalf of the entire editorial board, it is an honor to present a new volume of Social Innova Sciences (SIS), our journal dedicated to the dissemination of rigorous and relevant research in the vast field of the social sciences. In a world defined by digital acceleration, the reconfiguration of political identities, and the persistence of structural inequalities, social research takes on a renewed urgency. Its mission is not only to describe reality but to provide critical evidence that allows us to navigate and transform our complex societies.

This issue encapsulates that mission through a common thread that, implicitly but powerfully, runs through most of the articles presented here: the dynamic and often conflictual tension between large-scale policies and structures and the diverse and specific realities of local contexts. Through analyses ranging from governance and digital mobilization to environmental management, this volume finds its deepest expression in the field of education, a space where this tension manifests itself with particular clarity.
