Main Article Content
Abstract
Interactive Mathematics in the pedagogical project, developed by CENAMEC, in the U.E.N. Dr. Juan Pablo Rojas Paúl, located in Río Caribe, municipality of Arismendi in the State of Sucre, is an initiative that looks towards the STEAM model. The use of this tool, develops skills to promote science education, starting from mathematics through transversality and in an interdisciplinary way allows linking knowledge of science, technology, engineering and art. It allows students to take advantage of knowledge in an experiential way and with practical utility. Mathematics is action-reflection to develop new capacities, it allows to approach topics from the criticism, the argumentation, the theory and the practice; placing them in the task. The challenge of the new educational models is to integrate art into science as the component that makes man more human.
